Joshua Toas

Joshua Toas currently serves as the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at the Georgia Institute of Technology, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, Joshua worked at The Research Foundation for SUNY from September 2012 to October 2025 as the Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President for Compliance, and Assistant Secretary, where responsibilities included developing and administering the enterprise compliance program along with overseeing Risk Management, Internal Controls, Corporate Ethics, Policy Administration, Privacy, and Information Security. Earlier in Joshua's career, a role as Senior Director of Risk Management and Ethics & Counselor was undertaken within the same foundation, handling corporate governance and legal affairs. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Executive Officer for the New York State Liquor Authority and a military career as Captain in the Army. Joshua Toas earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from Widener University Schools of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Political Science and Government from Temple University.
