Dr. Doreen Carter, MBA, serves as the Vice Chair of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Inc. since November 2024 and as a State Representative for the Georgia General Assembly since November 2015, representing House District 93. Dr. Carter has held various financial leadership roles, including as Controller at Morehouse Medicine and previously at Robert Half and Jewish Family & Career Services of Atlanta. In addition, Dr. Carter was the Chief Financial Officer for St. Vincent de Paul Georgia, managing a substantial budget, and served as Comptroller for the Georgia Congress of Parents & Teachers. Educational credentials include an MBA from Kennesaw State University, an MA in Theology from Life Christian University, a BBA in Accounting from Georgia State University, and a Doctor of Christian Business Management.
