Chris Lewis

Chris Lewis has extensive experience in the field of geology, currently serving as Director of Regional Geology and Drilling at Geoscience Australia since February 2010. Previous roles at Geoscience Australia include Project Officer, Project Manager, Manager of the Executive Secretariat and Business Coordination, Executive Officer to the Chief Scientist, and Geochronologist/Geologist, where Chris provided expertise in geochronological studies for various projects. Additionally, Chris has held the position of Activity Leader for the Exploring for the Future – Isotopes initiative and began as a Graduate geoscientist, completing three rotations within the organization. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Student Geologist at Heathgate Resources Pty Ltd, focusing on down-hole geophysics and database quality assurance and control. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2009.
