Barb Neary

Barb Neary is the current Principal of the Energy Transition Team at Geosyntec Consultants. Barb has over 30 years of experience in the environmental engineering field and has worked for a variety of companies, including ARCADIS, Wind & Sun Environmental Consulting, LLC, O&G Environmental Consulting, and Foothill Engineering Consultants. Barb began their career as a Project Engineer/Project Manager at Environmental Science and Engineering in 1986 and has held the same position through various company acquisitions. In their current role at Geosyntec Consultants, Barb is responsible for leading the team in providing technical support to electric utilities and other clients transitioning from fossil fuel-based generation to cleaner energy sources.

Barb Neary has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.

Their manager is Peter Zeeb, President & CEO. They are on a team with Troy Hunt - Senior Principal Engineer, Bora Baturay - Principal Geotechnical Engineer, and Steve Peene - Senior Principal.
