Herwig Goldemund is a Senior Scientist at Geosyntec Consultants. Prior to joining Geosyntec, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Georgia from January 1996 to December 2000. Their graduate research focused on land application (i.e., beneficial reuse) of biosolids and ashes from the pulp and paper industry, and their post-doctoral work focused on the effectiveness of streamside management zones to keep sediments and contaminants out of small streams.
