VP, Customer Experience at Getaround

Ruth Yankoupe is the Vice President of Customer Experience at Getaround. Ruth is responsible for developing and deploying portfolio-wide initiatives to improve the guest experience and drive owner engagement. Ruth has over 25 years of experience in business management and oversees customer contact center and operational excellence teams in India responsible for optimizing the guest experience at each touch-point in the customer journey, addressing guest pain points and customizing global programs for the US market.

Prior to joining Getaround, Ruth served as the Senior Vice President of Business Services at Consensus Corporation, a software company owned by Target. In this role, they oversaw the team in all stages of the client management lifecycle, along with content management (pricing, promotions, product details) and financial services (commission reconciliation, fraud monitoring, analysis and modeling, business reporting and analytics). Ruth also oversaw collaboration with Target merchant team on revenue-generating initiatives for mobile business, managed software development/integrations with carrier and third-party vendors, and responded to/resolved software production escalations. In addition to their work at Consensus Corporation, Ruth also led a group of digital content associates and served on the Consensus leadership team focused on business development and customer acquisition.

Ruth Yankoupe has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Old Dominion University and a minor in marketing. Ruth also has an executive certification in Strategic Business Leadership from Georgetown University.

Ruth Yankoupe reports to Sam Zaid, Chairman, CEO & Co-Founder. They are on a team with Sy Fahimi - COO, North America, Sylvano Carrasco - VP, Connected Car & Partnerships, and Nick Tenekedes - VP, Marketplace.
