Udi Nir

Udi Nir is the Chief Technology Officer at GetYourGuide. He is responsible for the company’s long-term technology vision.

Udi brings over 25 years of engineering leadership honed in Silicon Valley to GetYourGuide. Before joining the company’s management team in Berlin, Udi served as Vice President of Engineering at San Francisco-based online groceries marketplace, Instacart, where he led technology efforts during a period of exponential business growth.

Prior to Instacart, Udi served as Chief Technology Officer at online fashion retailer ModCloth; VP of Engineering & Co-Founder at unified communications platform Threadsy; and Senior Director of Engineering at eBay, which he joined via its 2005 acquisition of Shopping.com. Udi has served in technology management roles since the mid-1990s.

A native of Israel, Udi holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, both earned at Tel Aviv University.
