Jesper Sand Damtoft

Jesper Sand Damtoft is an accomplished professional in sustainability and research within the cement and concrete sectors, currently serving as Chairman of INNO-CCUS since June 2024. Jesper Sand has had a long tenure at Cementir Holding N.V. as Group Sustainability Director and has also held key roles such as Director of R&D, Quality and Technical Sales Support. Jesper's contributions extend to the GCCA as a member of Working Group 5 on Innovation, and Jesper Sand holds a board membership at GEUS. Jesper is also involved with DI's Committee for Research and Education. Previous leadership includes chairing CEMBUREAU's Task Force on Sustainable Construction and serving on various boards, including Tænketanken DEA and NunaMinerals. Jesper's earlier career at Aalborg Portland included roles from Scientist to Vice President of R&D. Jesper holds an MSc in Geology from Aarhus University, earned between 1977 and 1984.
