Laura Groen

Laura Groen is an experienced orthopedagoog with extensive expertise in working with children and adolescents facing psychological challenges. Currently serving as an orthopedagoog at GGZ Noord-Holland-Noord since October 2025, Laura provides long-term intensive care for youth aged 12 to 21 with psychiatric issues. Prior experience includes a role at Dokter Bosman, conducting psychological assessments and providing treatment in the youth mental health sector from November 2021 to October 2025. Laura also held positions at Praktijk de Regenboog from November 2017 to October 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing a team, diagnosing youth, and providing direct treatment. Earlier experiences consist of serving as an au pair in Australia and managing staff at Café Klein Mokum. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Forensische Orthopedagogiek from the University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogische wetenschappen from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
