Sheryl Cornelius

Sheryl Cornelius is the current People Manager for Asia Pacific at GHD. Sheryl has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on Retail and Banking.

Sheryl started their career in 1993 as an HR Services Manager at Bluebird Foods. Sheryl then moved to Countrywide Bank as a Senior Manager of Human Resources in 1997. In 1998, they became a Senior Manager at the National Bank of New Zealand before moving to the Pacific Retail Group Limited as their General Manager of Human Resources in 2000.

In 2006, Sheryl became the General Manager HR at Noel Leeming Group before taking on the role of HR Manager at MercyAscot from 2006 to 2011. Sheryl then joined GHD in their current role in 2011.

Sheryl Cornelius has a B Soc Sci (Hons) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from The University of Waikato, a Bachelor of Education (BEd) from The University of Waikato, and a Diploma of Teaching from Hamilton Teachers College. Sheryl is currently a high school teacher at West Windsor Plainsboro High School.
