John W. Hall

John W. Hall is the VP & CIO at Gemological Institute of America. John has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Gemological Institute of America, they were the Sr. Director Global Site Operations & Network Infrastructure at Allergan. In this role, they were responsible for managing an enterprise-wide site operations capability and maximizing IT technology investments. John also had management responsibility for an annual operating budget of approximately $10.5M and was responsible for continuous improvement initiatives with preferred vendors to drive performance and cost efficiencies from contracted services.
