Lafayette G. serves as Of Counsel in the Transportation and Space Practice Group at Gibson Dunn, a position held since November 2025. Prior to this role, Lafayette was Special Counsel at Milbank LLP from August 2022 to September 2025, contributing to the Space and Telecom and Global Risk and National Security practice groups, while also participating in the Washington DC Office Recruiting Committee. From November 2020 to July 2022, Lafayette served as a Partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, advising technology, satellite, and telecom companies in regulatory and transactional matters and leading the firm's Space and Telecom sub-practice. Lafayette's earlier experience includes positions as an Associate, Summer Associate, and various roles at Milbank LLP, alongside internships at the South African Human Rights Commission and USAID. Lafayette holds a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Government from Radford University.
