Karl Woolfsmith

Karl Woolfsmith is a seasoned professional in environmental health and safety management, currently serving as Manager EH & S, Field Support at Gibson Energy since December 2019, overseeing a diverse team in Western Canada and Texas. Prior experience includes roles at Shell from May 2011 to October 2019, encompassing S & E Coordinator for Unconventionals, Health and Safety Lead for a construction project in northern Alberta, and various HSE coordination positions. From December 2008 to May 2011, Karl held the position of Radiation Safety Advisor at Terracon Geotechnique Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick in 2014 and a BBA in Finance from the same institution, completed in 2003. Karl is also certified as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and possesses NEBOSH qualifications.
