Tom Atterton

Tom Atterton has over 9 years of work experience. Tom is currently serving as the Lead Sustainability & Data Manager at Gist - Transforming Supply Chains since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Lloyd's Register for 9 years in various roles. These include Head of HSES Insight, Innovation and Reporting from July 2019 to September 2022, Business Analyst from February 2016 to July 2019, Regional Environmental Leader, EMEA from September 2015 to February 2016, and Business Assurance Analyst from December 2013 to August 2015. Their roles at Lloyd's Register involved tasks such as data collection and analysis, reporting, implementation and compliance with environmental management systems, and development of dashboards for tracking and improving processes.

Tom Atterton completed their education at the University of Plymouth. Tom obtained a Master's degree in Marine Biology in 2013, following which they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Environmental Science from 2009 to 2012. Prior to their university studies, Tom attended Cranbrook School. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in Fundamentals of Data Science from CEG Digital and Certified ScrumMaster® from Scrum Alliance in December 2021.
