James Allen

James Allen currently serves as the Chief Procurement Officer for the Civil Business at GKN Aerospace since September 2023. Previously, James held the position of Asset Management Director at Arriva Group from September 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included leading fleet management and maintenance operations for a major European passenger transport service provider. Prior experience includes a role as Procurement Director at Babcock International Group, focusing on asset and infrastructure support in various sectors, and earlier positions at McKinsey & Company as a consultant, and Airbus as Category Lead with commercial responsibility for landing gear supply. James obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering from the University of Oxford, graduating in 2000.
