Joakim Andersson

Joakim Andersson is the current President of Engines at GKN Aerospace. Joakim has previously held positions as General Manager & Vice President of Engine Products Sweden at GKN Aerospace, Chairman of the Board at Swedish Aerospace Industries, and Vice President of Aerospace Engine System Programs at GKN Aerospace. Prior to their work in the aerospace industry, Joakim was the President of Volvo Aero Connecticut LLC from 2008 to 2013.

Joakim Andersson has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Tekniska högskolan vid Linköpings universitet, a 6 Sigma Black Belt from the General Electric Academy, and a Bachelor level in Organizational Behaviour and Engineering from University West & Chalmers University. Joakim also has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nils Ericsson Undergraduate School.
