Abdool Corlette

Abdool Corlette is an award-winning filmmaker based in New York City. He is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts' Film Program with a concentration in Screenwriting & Directing. Abdool has spent over a decade working on commercial, narrative and documentary projects. He is passionate about showcasing the stories of underrepresented communities in media. As the Creative Director, Abdool’s goal is to advocate for LGBTQ individuals by using digitial media as a tool for social change.

Abdool is also the creator of “Other Boys NYC,” a documentary series that explores the lives of 50 queer and transgender people of color in New York City.
