Senior DevOps Engineer

Gladly is a Radically Personal Customer Service Platform that puts people at the center of a single, lifelong conversation. We enable companies to talk to their customers the way people talk to their friends: seamlessly across voice, email, SMS, chat, and social media.

We're in search of an experienced DevOps engineer to join our Platform team at the Senior level. The goal of this team is to continue to build out our microservices-based infrastructure with world class scalability, redundancy, and ease of operation, and you will be playing a key role in defining and then implementing the vision for the team. You will be involved in making critical decisions that will have a far reaching impact on our technology stack from the ground up. The ideal individual will have experience and passion for cloud-native platforms, and has driven several successful projects.

Our system is a microservice architecture built primarily in Go and Node/React with Kafka used as a message bus. Services are deployed as serverless or Docker containers running under Kubernetes on AWS. We need your help to run our platform more efficiently, and help teams take advantage of promising new technologies and approaches.

  • Own and drive projects, and communicate with stakeholders on requirements, progress and delivery
  • Design and build a Platform-as-a-Service that promotes best practices, and is a delight for engineering teams to use
