Alain Lemay

Alain Lemay is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in digital communications and web management. Currently serving as a Senior Digital Communications Analyst at Global Affairs Canada since October 2007, Alain pioneered the establishment of GAC's social media presence and formulated the department's social media policy and strategy. Prior roles include Senior Communication Strategist for e-Communications at Global Affairs Canada and Web Content Coordinator at the Canada International Development Agency, where Alain managed web content development, provided strategic advice, and ensured quality assurance. Alain's earlier experience includes serving as a Corporate Communications Strategist at the Public Service Human Resource Management Agency of Canada and as a Senior Communications Specialist for New Technologies at The Leadership Network. Academically, Alain holds a D.E.C. in Business Administration from CÉGEP de l'Outaouais and further education from the University of Ottawa.
