Claire MacKie

Claire Mackie is a seasoned professional in the fields of international relations, trade, and innovation, currently serving as a Senior Innovation Officer in the Science, Technology and Innovation Strategy and Partnerships Division of Global Affairs Canada since January 2022. Previously, Claire held the position of Trade Commissioner in the Mexico and Trilateral Affairs Division at Global Affairs Canada, along with a role as Market Access Officer at the British Consulate General in Toronto from November 2018 to December 2021. Claire also has experience as a Project Coordinator at York University - Glendon College and served as a Junior Trade Policy Officer at Global Affairs Canada. In the non-profit sector, Claire was a Women's Empowerment Project Manager and Coordinator at EduCARE India. Claire holds a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from Glendon School of Public and International Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from The University of British Columbia.
