Mary Rose

Mary Rose has extensive experience in international relations and diplomacy, currently serving as a Foreign Service Officer and Senior Advocacy Strategist at Global Affairs Canada since September 2019. Prior roles include Political Counsellor at the Embassy of Canada to Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Angola, and Diplomat at the High Commission of Canada in Nigeria. Additional positions span from a Senior Advisor on Mexico to an Anti-Corruption Advisor for the G20 Anti-Corruption Work Group, with prior experience as a Senior Greenhouse Gas Policy Analyst at Environment Canada. Mary Rose holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in International Development from Queen's University and a Master’s Degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of East Anglia.
