Meghan DiGiacomo

Senior Consultant at Global Location Strategies

Meghan has nearly a decade of experience in the economic development field. After graduate school, she started her career at the Small Business Development Center in Orlando where she managed research and data analytics, export marketing plan services, and government contract procurement. Meghan then joined Enterprise Florida, the state’s chief economic development organization. While there she was Director of Business Development for the life sciences industry establishing projects resulting in over 2,000 new or retained jobs, $110 million in capital investment, and incentive negotiations. She later returned to her hometown of Highlands County where she restructured and led the County’s Economic Development Department.

From small businesses to Fortune 500 companies, state, local and global projects, Meghan has a passion for economic development and its impact on communities large and small. She is driven by the results of helping companies identify the best locations to thrive, as well as the impact of diversifying local economies, creating jobs, and contributing to opportunities and prosperity for communities worldwide.

Originally from Florida, Meghan attended the University of Central Florida where she obtained her B.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship and an MBA. Meghan has a beloved Goldendoodle named Gunther and enjoys jigsaw puzzles, true crime podcasts, baking, and exploring her new home of South Carolina.
