Xiaofeng Tang

XiaoFeng (Tom) Tang is a Senior ASIC Physical Design Engineer (PMTS) and Technical Lead at GLOBALFOUNDRIES since July 2015, specializing in delivering backend design services for ASICs and working on internal MPWs, particularly with FX14 and FD22SOI nodes. Prior to this role, XiaoFeng worked at IBM from April 2006 to June 2015 as a Senior ASIC Physical Design Engineer and Technical Lead, providing backend design services for large, complex chips using IBM technologies and tools, while initially starting as a Physical Design Engineer. XiaoFeng holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, earned in 2006 and 2003, respectively.
