Manuel Urbano Benavides

Manuel Urbano Benavides is an experienced software architect and developer with a strong background in mobile application development. Currently serving as an Android Software Architect and Tech Lead Flutter at Globant since March 2022, Manuel specializes in creating comprehensive architectures for mobile applications using Flutter and clean architecture principles. Prior roles include Android Engineer and Android Tech Lead for the Walmart application, as well as iOS & Android Tech Lead at Perficient Latin America. Manuel's career also encompasses positions as an iOS & Android Developer at PSL Corp and TPaga, and as a project engineer at Nexura. Manuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Universidad del Cauca, completed in 2018, alongside earlier studies resulting in a Bachillerato from Leopoldo Lopez Alvarez.
