Ricardo Marcelo Alvarez is a technology expert with extensive experience in system administration and programming. As the Founder and CTO of GNUTRANSFER since May 2005, Ricardo has been instrumental in providing web hosting services and GNU/Linux virtual servers. Additionally, Ricardo has maintained a freelance career since January 2007, specializing in PHP development and GNU/Linux server administration, encompassing various tasks such as security enhancements and OS updates. Prior to these roles, Ricardo served as a System Administrator at the Dirección Nacional del Registro de la Propiedad Automotor from March 1995 to November 2006, focusing on Linux server management and web services. Educationally, Ricardo pursued a Licentiate degree in Computer Science at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and is a certified Electronics and Telecommunications Technician from Escuela Educacion Tecnica Nº 1 de Almirante Brown.
