Austin Sugai

Austin Sugai is an experienced professional in talent recruitment and performance arts education. Currently serving as an Emerging Talent Recruiter at GoDaddy since February 2021, Austin recruits over 40 interns annually, collaborates with external partners to enhance opportunities for marginalized individuals, and manages programs to support employee growth and intern experiences. Additionally, Austin has a strong background in color guard instruction, having directed programs at Branham High School and instructed at The King's Academy, focusing on choreography, technical education, and psychological approaches to performance. Previous recruitment roles at Poynt included coordinating full-cycle recruiting efforts and engaging with candidates across various sectors. Austin holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Music History from UCLA and a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Southern California.
