Rabele Mokone

Rabele Mokone is an experienced professional in the field of rock engineering, currently serving as Supervisor of Strata Control at GOLD FIELDS since August 2018, and holds additional roles including relieving Section Manager and Superintendent of Rock Engineering. Mokone's responsibilities involve regular inspections of working faces, documentation of strata control issues, and supporting compliance audits of support installations. Additionally, Rabele serves as Treasurer for SANIRE, the South African National Institute of Rock Engineering, since December 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Rock Engineering Trainee at GOLD FIELDS and as a Geology Graduate in Training at Samancor Chrome. Rabele holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology from the University of Pretoria, completed between 2010 and 2014.
