Tamara Atkinson

Tamara Atkinson serves as the Chief Impact Officer and President of Workforce Advancement Strategy at Goodwill Central Texas, a position held since October 2025. In addition, Atkinson is the Board President-Elect for The Rosedale Foundation and a Board Member of the Austin Area Research Organization. Previous roles include Board Member for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce and various leadership positions at Workforce Solutions Capital Area, including Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Executive Director. Atkinson has also contributed to the Texas Association of Community Colleges as a Business Advisory Council Member and served on the boards of E3 Alliance and Rally Austin. Notably, Atkinson was the President of the Workforce Development Council for the United States Conference of Mayors and the Past Chair and Board Chair of the Community Advancement Network. Academically, Atkinson holds a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in English and French from The University of Texas at Austin.
