The film enjoyed multiple awards from film festivals such as SXSW, Nashville Film Festival among others and has been chosen to represent the U.S. Department of State's 2012 American Film Showcase.

Lourdes with some of the band members were invited to the White House to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the National Disabilities Act and has screened around the world. Lourdes is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping others and improving the lives of those around her.

Lourdes De La Mata-Little received their Bachelor of Fine Arts from Boston University in Visual Arts - Graphic Design, Typography, Marketing, Advertising, Philosophy and Classic Arts. Lourdes then went on to receive their certification from University of California, Davis in Planned Giving. After that, they received their certification from Yale University in Principles of Negotiations. Next, they received their certification from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in Development Major Gifts. Finally, they received their certification from Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy in Principles & Techniques of Fundraising and also from University of Miami in University of Miami - Integrated Marketing Communications.
