June Yang

June Yang is the current VP of Cloud AI & Industry Solutions for Google Cloud. June has also previously worked as an Investor at C.M. Capital Advisors, Director of Product Management & Product Marketing at Oracle, and Engagement Manager & Senior Consultant at Viant, Inc.

June has always had a passion for technology and its potential to change the world. June started their career as a consultant, helping companies to implement new technologies and optimize their operations. After a few years in the industry, they transitioned into product management and product marketing, using their skills to help companies develop and market new products.

In 2008, June decided to move into venture capital, evaluating and conducting due diligence on direct investment opportunities in China with a focus on cleantech, technology, and healthcare. June also conducted due diligence on VC fund and PE fund opportunities and evaluated fund managers.

In 2009, June joined VMware as Vice President of Engineering and product management for VMware cloud on Dell EMC. In this role, they led a cross-functional team spanning product management, engineering, marketing, business development, and operations. June was responsible for building an innovative new cloud service for enterprise customers that addressed their infrastructure needs from the datacenter to the edge. The first service they brought to market was VMware cloud on Dell EMC.

In their current role as General Manager of Google Cloud at Google, June is responsible for driving the growth and success of Google Cloud’s products and services. June is focused on delivering value to customers and partners through Google Cloud’s technology and solutions.

June Yang has a M.S in Management from Sloan Fellow at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineeering with honors from Caltech.
