Oleg Yaroshchuk is a research scientist with extensive expertise in the physics of liquid crystals and photosensitive polymers, as well as material science and optical devices for various applications. Oleg has developed methods for liquid crystal alignment and has characterized photoinduced anisotropy in photosensitive materials, authoring over 230 research papers and holding 29 patents. Oleg has held positions at notable institutions including Google, Facebook, and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and is currently a Staff Research Scientist at Google. Oleg earned a PhD in Non-linear optics of liquid crystals from the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
