Mark Colby

Mark Colby is the Chief Financial Officer at Goosehead Insurance. Prior to joining Goosehead, Mark was with Ernst & Young in their Transaction Advisory Services group from October 2009 to October 2012. In this role, Mark provided support services for every stage of a M&A transaction and executed due diligence analyses for buy-side and sell-side transactions across various industries, company sizes, and geographic locations. From October 2012 to January 2014, Mark was the Manager of Strategic Initiatives at TWG Insurance where they were responsible for the design and integration of wealth management business infrastructure and management/client reporting structure, identifying and executing acquisition opportunities, leading the company's outsourcing efforts, and various other financial management duties. In August 2009, Mark also completed a Salesforce Design and Transition project at TWG Insurance. Prior to embarking on their professional career, Mark spent time as a Student Technician - Admissions Fee Processing at Texas A&M University from November 2003 to May 2009.

Mark Colby has a BBA and MS in accounting and finance from Texas A&M University - Mays Business School. Mark is also certified by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant.
