Kristie Cronin

Kristie Cronin currently serves as the Deputy Minister of Community Services for the Government of Nunavut, a position held since August 2023 following a departmental reorganization aimed at enhancing service delivery for Nunavummiut. Previously, Kristie held various roles including Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Transportation and Deputy Minister of Human Resources within the Government of Nunavut. Prior to this, Kristie's experience includes serving as Director of Human Resources for The Corporation of the County of Essex and interim CEO/Chief Librarian at Essex County Library. Additional experience encompasses the role of Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Green Shield Canada and Manager of Human Resources at Greater Essex County District School Board. Kristie's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Labour Relations from Athabasca University, as well as prior studies in Business Administration, Marketing, and Human Resources from St. Clair College, and professional certifications from Queen's University, University of Guelph, and University of Windsor.
