James G. Gaynor II

Board Member at Grafton Integrated Health Network

Mr. Gaynor served as CEO and President of Grafton Integrated Health Network for 13 years. Prior to Grafton, he was the CEO of North Pointe Behavioral Healthcare Systems in Michigan, and served as the CEO of Unity, Inc., the largest not-for-profit behavioral healthcare provider in Oregon. He also led the successful turnaround of Portland, Oregon’s $80 million, publicly-funded mental health system as the County’s Director of System Redesign. As a Board member of the Mental Health Corporations of America, Mr. Gaynor chaired its Future Forum for consecutive terms. He has also been a SAMHSA invitee to two International Institutes for Mental Health Leadership meetings. Mr. Gaynor attended Ohio State University and the University of Toledo and completed a dual major doctoral track in Clinical and Educational Psychology. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Administration in Counseling Psychology.
