Nirmal Selvaraj

Nirmal Selvaraj is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in driving growth and enhancing user experiences across multiple technology companies. Currently serving as Head of Engineering for Growth at Grammarly since July 2022, Nirmal supports a team of 70 globally distributed engineers focused on product-led growth initiatives. Prior roles include Director of Engineering for Growth at Instacart and Senior Manager of Software Development for Amazon Music, where responsibilities included leading growth development teams and creating impactful customer experiences. Nirmal has also held key positions at Ancestry, AER Worldwide, and RLI, demonstrating expertise in engineering management, product development, and customer engagement. Nirmal holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from Illinois State University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras.
