Kelsey Jewett

Kelsey Jewett is an accomplished Exploration Director at Gran Tierra Energy, with a tenure since August 2016, focusing on developing and executing a comprehensive exploration strategy across multiple geological basins in two countries. Prior roles include serving as Sr. Manager of Exploration, where Kelsey led a team implementing Play-Based Exploration methods, and as Senior/Lead Geologist, responsible for significant field developments and reservoir evaluations. Kelsey's extensive experience also spans previous positions at Shell as an Exploration Geoscientist and Total as a Senior Exploration and New Ventures Geologist, with earlier roles in exploration geology in the Philippines and South America. Kelsey earned a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Alberta.
