Stephen Dolphyn

Stephen Dolphyn serves as the Director of Network and Security at Granite Telecommunications, providing oversight of operations, networking, and information security since January 2010. In this role, Stephen acts as the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) for the Enterprise Information Security (EIS) government contract, ensuring compliance with NIST 800-53 guidelines and maintaining critical IT infrastructure for over 2,500 users. Stephen has successfully led disaster recovery and business continuity efforts, managed a diverse team, and achieved significant cost reductions through strategic negotiations. Previous roles include Director of Infrastructure and Information Security, Manager of Information Technology and Carrier Managed Firewall, and roles in information security and network engineering across various organizations including Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Thomson Financial. Education includes ongoing studies at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and training at Sans Boston.
