Ed Byrne

Ed Byrne has a diverse work experience, primarily in the roles of co-founder, board member, and founder & CEO. Ed co-founded Scaleworks in 2015 and currently serves as the Co-Founder and General Partner. Ed also co-founded Soilworks Natural Capital in 2020. In 2019, they co-founded Element SaaS Finance and holds the position of Co-Founder and Board Member. Byrne is the Co-Founder and Board Member of Grassroots Carbon since 2021. Ed serves as a Board Member at Centage, Import.io, TINT (tintup.com), Range Ward, and PastureMap. Prior to these roles, they founded and served as the CEO of Copper Cloud (now Scaleworks Inc.) starting from 2013.

Ed Byrne attended Belvedere College from 1991 to 1999, but did not earn a degree or specialize in any particular field of study during this time. Later, from 2001 to 2005, they attended Trinity College Dublin, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Information Technology.
