Anita Geevarghese

Anita Geevarghese is an experienced curriculum developer and education consultant with a strong background in mathematics education. Since February 2020, Anita has been working at Great Minds as a Curriculum Developer for Eureka Math, focusing on assessment. Prior to this role, Anita operated as a self-employed Assessment and Education Consultant from March 2012 to February 2020, developing research-based assessment tools aligned with Common Core State Standards for G3-12 mathematics. From June 2008 to March 2012, Anita served as a Test Development Specialist III at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where responsibilities included developing math assessments and leading professional development initiatives. Earlier, from August 2005 to May 2008, Anita taught math at Proviso West High School, where new curricula were designed to support struggling students. Anita holds a Master’s degree in Math Education from DePaul University and a Bachelor’s degree in Math and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
