What You'll Experience as a Staff Accountant/ Financial Analyst at Greencastle:

  • Working closely with Greencastle’s senior leadership to provide financial updates and support as needed.

What You Will Work On:

  • Bookkeeping: Assist in daily categorizing banking transactions in QuickBooks Online and keeping company books up to date.
  • Accounts Receivable: Assist in creating and sending invoices on time and maintaining Account Receivables records and databases to ensure they are categorized accurately to align with QuickBooks Online.
  • Accounts Payable: Assist in creating and sending payments on time along with maintaining Account Payables records and databases to ensure they are categorized accurately to align with QuickBooks Online.
  • Assistance in Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of financial information.
    • Daily updates of Financial Department Microsoft Power BI reports and dashboards
    • Weekly updates of Work Force Management Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Audit Support: Assist with audit preparations, including gathering supporting documents, reconciling accounts, and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department and contribute to the implementation of solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Department, aiding, and contributing to project deliverables.
  • Data Management: Help maintain financial department spreadsheets and databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial department records.
  • Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analyses to support decision-making processes, including financial modeling, ratio analysis, and trend analysis.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid as needed in preparing budgets and forecasts by gathering relevant data, performing variance analysis, and assisting in developing financial projections.

Qualifications:

  1. Required: Military veteran, experienced in accounting and financial analyses
  2. Required: Completed a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  3. Required: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, and financial modeling.
  4. Required: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  5. Required: Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  6. Required: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  7. Required: A desire to play by adult rules, GSD™, a genuine commitment to team success, and a commitment to making our veteran communities better places in which to live and work.
  8. Required: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits:

The range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000, depending on your prior experience and qualifications. 

Work Environment:

Greencastle Consulting is headquartered in Malvern, PA., serving clients nationwide. Although much of our work with our clients is accomplished remotely, our support positions are in-person for your benefit. You will be able to work closely with our team of experts and leaders to develop real-world experiences.
