David Sigmon

David Sigmon currently serves as General Counsel at Greenlight Re, leading legal, regulatory, compliance, and governance efforts since April 2023. Prior to this, David held the position of Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Everest from August 2017 to April 2023, where responsibilities included capital markets, complex transactions, and sustainability initiatives, contributing to international expansion and significant financial milestones. David's earlier experience includes roles as General Counsel at AmTrust Financial Services, Associate Attorney at Locke Lord LLP, and various legal positions that encompass extensive legal support in insurance, reinsurance, and regulatory matters. David obtained a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and is currently pursuing an LL.M. at Georgetown University Law Center.
