Matt Eichmann

Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer at Greif

Matt Eichmann joined Greif in November 2015 and currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer. Previously he served as Vice President, Investor Relations, External Relations and Sustainability and the Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Prior to Greif, he worked at Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE: NEM) where he served as Director, Investor Relations and held various other corporate finance and leadership roles both in the United States and Africa.

Matt was a U.S. Marine Corps officer and in 2019 was named to the National Investor Relations Institute’s inaugural “40 under 40” class. He currently volunteers for the American Heart Association and is a former member of their Central Ohio volunteer executive leadership team.

Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the US Naval Academy, a Master’s degree in finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Denver and has attended graduate programs at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. He is also an Investor Relations Charterholder (IRC).
