Melissa Burns

Melissa Burns, PHR, is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in HR management and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for Containerboard & Corrugated in North America at Greif since January 2018, Melissa oversees HR functions across multiple locations, focusing on employee development, compensation, benefits, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. Previously, Melissa held the position of Corporate Benefits Manager at Caraustar and progressed through various HR roles, including HR Manager and Senior Manager at Insurance House. Early career experience includes serving as a Staffing Specialist at Maristaff and ManpowerGroup. Melissa holds a degree from Kennesaw State University.
