Brett Ruffell has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Freelance Translator. In 2013, they began working with the Department for International Development as a Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, Interpreter, and Community Relations. Brett also worked as a Translator for the United Nations Human Rights in 2016, the United Nations Volunteers Regional Office in 2015, and Defence for Children International - International Secretariat in 2013. In 2017, they began working for The Body Shop as a Store Manager and Flagship Operations Manager. In 2021, they began working for Grip as a People Manager and People Advisor, and for Enara Bio as an HR, People, and Talent Coordinator.
Brett Ruffell completed their high school education at Colchester Sixth Form College from 2010 to 2013, where they studied Romance Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. Brett then went on to study Spanish Translation at the University of Westminster, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in 2018. In addition to their educational qualifications, Ruffell has also obtained a Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in October 2019, as well as four Certificates of Appreciation from the UNV Regional Office, Panama, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the UNV Regional Office, Panama in 2017, 2016, and 2016 respectively.
