Passionate and adept in the art of compelling communication and story discovery, Jill Kelly is the Global Chief Marketing Officer for GroupM. She is responsible for GroupM’s reputation and growth through brand, product and solutions marketing, as well as positioning strategy and narration of GroupM’s value proposition to external and internal customers. A member of GroupM’s Global Leadership Team, she is a key player in championing GroupM’s regarded scale, effective media solutions and technology-enabled services for clients. With more than $60 billion in media investment billings across 80 markets worldwide, GroupM is the largest media investment group. It also has three of the world’s top five media agencies and a range of businesses innovating in advanced TV, AI-driven programmatic, eCommerce, and more. Jill’s award-winning work, as well as her marketing and communications experience, ensures GroupM continues to tell its story effectively, simply and memorably to clients and the market at-large. Prior, Jill was the Global CMO of Digitas and Publicis Spine, a global data, product and technology solution at the holding company. There, she led the communications strategy, reputation management initiatives, product/services marketing and prospecting campaigns. A student of ad agencies, Jill led Global Communications for Starcom MediaVest Group, with media roles at McCann and J. Walter Thompson. Jill is also the co-founder and a chief architect of the industry’s first Digital Content NewFronts. Jill currently serves on the ColorComm Board and is the Operating Board Chair of She Runs It, a women’s leadership organization. Over the years she has mentored hundreds of professionals through structured and informal mentor forums. A perpetual learner, and an example-led leader, Jill values relationships and results equally, not only ‘demanding the ball’ but supporting others with the opportunity to take it. She resides in New Jersey with her husband, three children and two guinea pigs.
