Anand Iyer

Anand Iyer is currently the VP of Technology at Grubhub. Prior to this, they served as the Sr. Director of Engineering at Jet.com, where they were responsible for the full engineering and delivery of several consumer experience-centered engineering teams, including the Jet.com website, native application, site management tooling, backend APIs, and payments. From March 2015 to October 2016, Iyer was the VP of Engineering at Core Solutions, Inc., where they managed multiple development centers worldwide and was responsible for all aspects of product engineering as well as client delivery. Iyer began their career in 2003 as a Principal Architect at XLNT Inc.(formerly Spectrum Solutions), before moving to Infosys Technologies Ltd in 2006, where they again served as a Principal Architect. In 2008, they became the Director of Software Engineering at eBay Enterprise.

Anand Iyer has a MS in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a PG Diploma in Business Computing from CDAC, a BE in Computers from Bharati Vidyapeeth, and a Diploma in Electronics Engg from L&T Institute of Technology.

They work with Sanjay Uttam - VP, Software Engineering, Bob Waite - VP, Engineering eCommerce, and Sultan Mahmood - Director, Engineering, Contributor, Content & Search Platform. Anand Iyer reports to Greg Russell, CTO.
