Armando Henriques

Armando Henriques is a seasoned professional in the energy and investment sectors, currently serving as a Senior Operating Partner at Fifth Ocean Group since May 2023. With extensive experience in board governance, Armando holds non-executive director positions at Grupo Energisa, Ibitu Energia, and Angra Energy Partners, in addition to founding and leading Angra Energy Partners. As an angel investor, Armando supports startups through Urca Angels and Encontre um Nerd. Previous leadership roles include President of Duke Energy International and Chairman of Duke Energy Brazil, overseeing significant power generation assets in Latin America. Armando's educational background encompasses a Master of Liberal Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, an MBA from COPPEAD UFRJ, and expertise in nuclear reactor technology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
