Emilio Ruiz

Emilio Ruiz is an experienced medical professional with a comprehensive background in cardiology and neurology within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Cardiology & Neurology Therapeutic Areas at Ferrer since May 2009, Emilio defines and leads medical strategies while managing global teams and resources effectively. Previous roles include heading In-field Medical Affairs and serving as a Senior MSL Manager, where Emilio successfully implemented in-field medical initiatives across Europe. With a solid foundation in pharmacology and extensive experience in clinical trials, Emilio has contributed significantly to various therapeutic areas through roles at Biometrica-group and academic positions at prestigious institutions, including Universidad Complutense de Madrid and King's College London. Emilio holds a Doctorate in Pharmacology and has furthered education with a Master's in Clinical Trials and training in Marketing and Leadership.
