Meritxell Casas

Meritxell Casas currently serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Ferrer, a position held since January 2015, where responsibilities encompass legal, intellectual property, and compliance matters. Prior to this role, Meritxell worked as the HR and Legal/Compliance Director at Cognita Schools from December 2013 to January 2015, and held similar positions at Laboratorios SALVAT and Laboratorios MADAUS / Rottapharm between 1998 and 2013. Earlier experience includes serving as Company Lawyer at IBD Jurídica and a Lawyer at Casamitjana Advocats. Educational qualifications include a Digital Transformation - Senior Management Program from IESE Business School, an Innovative Management & Corporate Entrepreneurship degree from Babson College, and a series of advanced programs in human resources, intellectual property, and criminal law from Esade and Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, Meritxell holds a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Cambridge.
