Paolo Giubellino

Paolo Giubellino's work experience includes positions at various prestigious institutions. paolo is currently the CEO and Scientific Managing Director at the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research in Europe GmbH since 2017. paolo is also a Professor at the Technische Universität Darmstadt since the same year. Prior to these roles, they were the CEO and Scientific Managing Director at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research from 2010 to 2017, where they also served as Chair, G-PAC from 2010 to 2016. paolo worked as a Research Director at INFN starting from 2004. From 1982 to 2016, they held positions at CERN, including being the Spokesperson of the ALICE Collaboration and serving as a physicist. Paolo Giubellino was also a Member of the Conseil Scientifique de l'IN2P3 at CNRS from 2011 to 2014. paolo started their career as a Fulbright Fellow at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1984.

Paolo Giubellino obtained a Doctor of Physics and Mathematics degree from JINR Dubna from 1998 to 2000. paolo completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics at Università degli Studi di Torino from 1979 to 1983. Furthermore, Paolo studied Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz in 1985 and at the University of California, Berkeley in 1981. paolo completed their high school education at Liceo Classico Massimo D'Azeglio, obtaining a maturita degree from 1974 to 1979. Paolo attended elementary school at elementari Ricardi di Netro from 1965 to 1970.
